Michael helps you understand what you have, what is changing, and which options are available to you.

Losing coverage?

Bring your plan notice to the conversation. Michael can explain what changed, when it takes effect, and what to consider next. A Medicare Advantage plan ending does not necessarily mean you lose Medicare itself.

Questions about Providence or UnitedHealthcare?

You deserve clear information about the care you rely on. Michael can review your notice and help check what applies to your plan in Oregon.

Providence Medicare Advantage

Providence confirms its Medicare Advantage plans will end on December 31, 2026. If you received a notice, Michael can help you understand your coverage choices for 2027.

UnitedHealthcare and your providers

The Oregon Clinic states it stopped accepting UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage on January 1, 2026. That announcement is specific to The Oregon Clinic; it does not describe every Providence doctor or hospital.

A few questions, answered.

Is Michael’s Medicare consultation really free?

Yes. Michael provides personalized Medicare guidance at no cost to you, with no obligation to enroll. He can review your current coverage, explain unfamiliar terms, and help you explore available plan options. Insurance premiums and other plan costs may still apply if you choose coverage.

Can I get help before I turn 65?

Yes. You can start planning with Michael at age 64½. Planning ahead is different from enrolling: for most people, the initial Medicare enrollment period starts three months before the month they turn 65. Your timing may depend on your circumstances. See Medicare’s enrollment guidance.

What happens after I request a consultation?

Michael will call you to learn what you need help with. You can ask questions, review a coverage-change notice, and discuss your next steps. Requesting a callback does not enroll you in a plan or change your coverage. You do not need to decide on a plan to ask for help. Any required appointment documentation will be handled before a plan-specific discussion.

What if I have both Medicare and Medicaid?

If you have both Medicare and Medicaid, tell Michael during your consultation so he can help you understand how your coverage works together. This page offers Medicare guidance, not Medicaid enrollment services.
